We are a secular homeschooling family in Southern California. We celebrate the seasons and try to live close to the Earth (um, or as close as is possible in a city). Our children were born at home, wore cloth diapers (at least during a part of their diapering careers) and received no vaccinations.
The Daddy:

Alex loves Volkswagens, toys, records, and he loves to help people. He loves to look at himself in the mirror. He is a certified geek in the fields of punk rock and collectible toys with an emphasis on GI Joe. My husband is a good man. And even though he sometimes forgets to wear pants when he leaves the house, I still love him very much.
The Mommy:

I am, in no particular order… mom, wife, friend, hippie, liberal, woman, attachment parent, paranoid, photographer, breastfeeder, exerciser, dysfunctional, hilarious, listener, homeschooler, sincere, honest, novice knitter, dependent, mildly self-absorbed.
The Kids:

Our amazing kids. Running, giggling, wrestling, fighting, hugging, playing, yelling, laughing, singing, loving. They view life as only children can and they live it voraciously. They are fiery and creative, warm and loving. Truly, we are blessed.
